I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Politics at the University of Virginia. Prior to UVA, I attended Florida State University where I received a BS in Political Science as well as a Bachelor’s Certificate in Political Science Research.
I specialize in American politics and political methodology. My current research seeks to uncover the mechanisms of obstruction in the state legislatures.
More broadly, my research interests involve legislative institutions, legislator behavior, state politics, panel data modeling, research design, and causal inference.
